Marking

Each tube or pipe shall be legibly and indelibly marked, either on the tube or pipe on a label or wrapping which shall be securely attached with the following information:

a) The manufacturer’s name or identification mark;

b) The number of this British Standard, i.e. BS 4825-12);

c) The outside diameter and thickness;

d) Material grade;

e) Cast or batch reference to identify the source of the material.
